Disasters are growing in scale. What do you think about this? Do you realize this prophecy of the Lord Jesus has been fulfilled? “For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows” (Matthew 24:7–8). The fulfillment of the prophecies of the Lord’s return indicates that the Lord has already returned. So we should hurry to seek and welcome the Lord’s return, which is an urgent priority. Only in this way can we have the chance to be protected by God. Then how should we search for God’s footsteps so as to greet the Lord soon? The Lord Jesus prophesied, “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear My voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me” (Revelation 3:20). “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me” (John 10:27).
God says, “Since we are searching for the footprints of God, it behooves us to search for God’s will, for the words of God, for His utterances—because wherever there are new words spoken by God, the voice of God is there, and wherever there are the footsteps of God, God’s deeds are there. Wherever there is the expression of God, there God appears, and wherever God appears, there the truth, the way, and the life exist. In seeking God’s footprints, you have ignored the words “God is the truth, the way, and the life.” And so, many people, even when they receive the truth, do not believe that they have found God’s footprints, and still less do they acknowledge the appearance of God. What a grave mistake!”
From these words we can see: The Lord would speak words upon His return. So in order to search for God’s appearance, the key is to pay attention to listening to the words of the Lord returned. When hearing someone testify that the Lord has already returned and expressed new words, we should investigate it. Once we recognize God’s voice from His words, we accept and follow them, then we will have welcomed the Lord and can feast with Him.
Today, the Lord Jesus, who we have been yearning for day and night, has already returned. He has expressed all truths to purify and save man, pointed out to us the path to get purification and entry into the kingdom of heaven.
